Q type

Q type is divided into two types:

explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof

The general IP level of explosion-proof is higher, explosion-proof is IP68, non-explosion-proof is IP67, and the protection level is generally IP54, IP65, IP67, and IP68.Generally, IP54 is for indoor use, IP65 is for outdoor use, IP67 is for short-term immersion in water (within one minute), and IP68 is for long-term soaking (1-2 hours).Can be used outdoors.

The difference between compact and Q-type

Appearance difference: the compact size is smaller, the internal parts will be relatively less, and the cost is lower than the Q-typeInternal structure: The internal structure of the Q-type has a double rack and pinion, and the fine-sized has only a single-gear rack. The Q-type itself also has a manual turbine, which is much more convenient than the fine-sized. The fine-sized only has a manual wrench. In this case, it is relatively difficult to open the valve with a manual wrench.When the valve is powered on, the manual wrench can no longer be used to open the valve. When the valve is powered on and the valve is manually opened at the same time, the gear inside will slip and break.

The Q-type has a switch, which can be switched between manual and automatic. It has the advantage that it will automatically reset when it is powered on once it is switched over.

Overload protection: Q-type has its own protection function, but the internal space of fine and small actuators is limited, and this function cannot be carried. The built-in protection function needs to be wired, and the internal wiring is connected well. When the power is turned on, there will be a feedback of fault protection. If the middle valve is stuck in position, the fine and small motor will keep rotating. If no one finds that it keeps rotating, it will burn out. However, once the Q valve is stuck in position, the motor will keep rotating, and it will automatically jump when it reaches a certain temperature. It will not burn the motor (unless the voltage is unstable), the biggest problem of the electric valve is the unstable voltage, and the motor is easy to burn when the voltage is unstable.

Customers often ask why the electric valve actuator used outdoors will get water inside?There are generally three reasons for this

1. The wire of the terminal is not connected properly. The terminal is of the locking type. If it is placed outdoors, it must be locked tightly.is relatively solid.Like the Q type, it is generally used for explosion-proof. If the joint part is used outdoors, it must be wrapped with raw material tape.

2. The terrain where the valve is installed is relatively low. Once it rains heavily and is immersed in water for a long time, water will enter the actuator.

3. Another situation is that the valve is not used for a long time, and it is placed in a dark and humid place. In the rainy days, the temperature difference is relatively large, and condensation water will be generated inside the actuator, resulting in a short circuit.
